On Wednesday 9th July was our official ‘park opening’ with some special guests in attendance.

The mayor of Gateshead officially opened our park after having a tour of the school to meet staff and students.

We were very grateful to have a representative from the Police Foundation  join us on the day, after their very kind donation towards the park equipment.

Members of the PTA and school governors also joined us and helped represent the school with our special guests.

Finally, we were joined by the student council from St Peter’s primary school

The park has been a huge hit with students from all classes across school, it provides opportunities for physical activity, play, social skills and above all fun!!! We’re very lucky to have this new resource as part of our school.
