This Autumn term, Class 3 pupils have been working towards getting fish for the classroom.
They have been learning about parts of the fish body and how they are different to human bodies; they were great at exploring what fish need to survive and will soon be moving onto food chains. In literacy lessons, they were able to follow and order instructions to set up the fish tank before picking out names for their future fish.
They then embarked on a visit to PetsatHome where they chose their fish and paid for them using their banking money. They listened to the staff at the pet shop on how often they need to feed their fish and could recall it later. Every morning, they have a checklist of jobs to complete; they’ve all said feeding the fish is their favourite job! Well done Class 3, what a successful project this has been.
