On Tuesday 2nd February, a group of 7 girls from Dryden visited Walker Activity Dome again to take part in a GIRLS only Disability football festival organised by Newcastle United Foundation and Northumberland FA.

Some of our girls had previously attended a session there in December.  The girls from Dryden joined with pupils from 4 other schools this time (Percy Hedley, Collingwood, Hill Top and Beacon Hill) and took part in a range of activities to practice their skills before participating in a round robin competition of mini matches against the girls from the other schools.  Our girls performed well on the day and three of them were thanked by staff for another school for being supportive towards their students.

Well done girls!
